In this course, you'll look at when a worker is protected and when the duty to make reasonable adjustments applies. The duty to make reasonable adjustments consists of three requirements - you will look at what these are.

This course explores what is meant by reasonable, what happens if a recommendation is not reasonable and state the legal issues surrounding reasonable adjustments.

You'll also look at the different types of disability discrimination and how to prevent it happening. Finally, you'll explore carer's leave, which was introduced on 6 April 2024.

This course is now closed, although you can still retrieve your certificate if you completed this course in 2024.

Please see the 2025 course for the most recent version.
